In science we use Harvard citation style. Scientific journals have their own requirements of citations for publishing papers. For guidelines on citing within your text and making a reference section, here is a quick, short version or a longer version of the Harvard style of citations, from the Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, England. Microsoft Word will format your citations and reference section – under the references tab, choose the Harvard – Anglia style and insert citation.
